Tilox Usage Guidelines
Effective Date: June 1, 2026
Welcome to Tilox
Tilox is your personal craft fruit wine brewing companion, built to help you easily log recipes, track every step of fermentation, and create beautiful shareable recipe cards to show off your creations. These guidelines are here to help everyone understand how we can all enjoy using Tilox together, in a fun and respectful way.
The best part? You don't need to create an account or log in to use any core feature of Tilox. We built it to be accessible for all home brewers, no strings attached.
Our Promise To You
- All core features (recipe logging, fermentation tracking, recipe card creation) are 100% free for personal use, forever.
- You never have to log in or share your personal information to use the app.
- All your private recipes and notes are stored locally on your device by default — we don't store any of your personal data on our servers unless you explicitly choose to enable cloud backup.
- We'll never sell your personal data to third parties, because we don't collect any in the first place.
- We'll keep updating Tilox with new features and improvements to make your brewing experience even better.
What You Can Do With Tilox
- Log and save unlimited custom fruit wine recipes, with all your preferred ingredient measurements and notes.
- Track fermentation progress, log temperature readings, gravity measurements, and tasting notes at every stage.
- Generate beautiful, customizable recipe cards to save to your device or share with friends, family, and brewing communities.
- Use Tilox for all your personal home brewing projects, experiment with new recipes, and share your creations with the world.
Our Gentle Guidelines For You
We just ask that you keep these simple things in mind when using Tilox:
- Respect other creators: if you share a recipe that isn't your own, make sure you have permission to share it, and credit the original creator where appropriate.
- Don't use Tilox to harm, harass, or spam other people, or to share content that's hurtful or inappropriate.
- Don't try to break the app, copy its code, or use it for bulk automated activity that disrupts the service for others.
- If you share recipes or content that includes alcohol, make sure you follow local common guidelines for responsible sharing of home brewing content.
Your Content
All the recipes, notes, and content you create with Tilox belong to you. We don't claim any ownership over your original content. If you choose to share your recipe cards publicly, you remain responsible for the content you share.
Sharing Your Recipe Cards
We love when you share the beautiful recipe cards you create with Tilox! You can share your cards anywhere for personal use, no attribution required. If you use your recipe cards for commercial purposes, we just ask that you add a small note that they were made with Tilox. We're a small team building this for the brewing community, and every bit of support helps!
Changes To These Guidelines
If we update these guidelines in the future, we'll post the new version right here, and notify all users through the app's home screen. The latest version will always be the one that applies when you use the app.
